From our inception in 2022 to the end of our inaugural school year in May 2024, the Lord worked mightily to provide everything we needed—board members, a facility, dedicated staff, and parents eager to partner with us in the education of their children. The efforts made by our board and staff, both before and during the first school year, were truly an act of service and commitment to advancing God's Kingdom. It took countless late nights, early mornings, and sacrifices of time and energy—blood, sweat, and tears—poured out to establish this school. It was a labor of love for the glory of God, embodying the heart of Kingdom service. Collectively, our team worked with unwavering faith to serve in His name.
Building on the strong foundation laid in our first year, the second year has been a season of incredible growth and new blessings. We ended last school year with 43 students. This year we more than doubled to 92 students. We’re thrilled to see more families choosing our school, and we are already delighted to see the energy and individuality these new students bring to our classrooms. It’s an exciting time. With increased enrollment, we welcomed new families as we added a second kindergarten class and filled each of our classes to capacity. We are committed to keeping each class size around 16 students, giving our staff an opportunity to connect individually with students and better partner with parents towards their academic growth.
Our curriculum has grown, as we have implemented IEW as a new language arts program for our grammar 4 and grammar 5 students, and we have also prioritized dedicated time for reading and our innovative Agency Matters program throughout the school year, which both offer students even more opportunity to thrive academically.
Our staff has also grown, bringing in passionate educators who share our vision of shaping young minds for the Kingdom. We welcomed Mrs. Jennifer Wieland, who is teaching the IEW language arts program to our grammar 4 and grammar 5 students. We also welcomed Mrs. Kendra Morris as our second kindergarten class teacher. Both ladies bring with them incredible skill sets and qualities that contribute to making our school fundamentally better on every level. Our returning staff have dedicated themselves to continued flourishing in their understanding and implementation of Classical Christian Education. Each and every staff member has their own unique testimony about how God guided and worked in their lives to place them at CRCS, and they were all certainly right on time, and exactly what we needed. God has truly blessed us with incredible teachers and staff, and there is simply no denying His hand of provision in their placement at our school.
The support from our incredible parents, the dedication of our team, and the grace of God have led us to achieve new milestones, making this year a testament to His ongoing provision and faithfulness. It’s a beautiful thing to witness what the Lord is doing in and through our school.
